Barclays maintains Nokia's 'Underweight' rating - target €3
LONDON (dpa-AFX Analyst) - British investment bank Barclays has maintained its rating for Nokia at "Underweight" with a price target of €3 ahead of the third-quarter earnings season. In an industry report released Thursday, analyst Simon Coles again expects volatile quarterly reports from tech stocks in the semiconductor and hardware sectors. A sector recovery is delayed, and the post-pandemic hangover is still not over. Only the AI topic is acting as a driver, while the situation in the automotive sector continues to deteriorate. Concerns about China have also resurfaced. Nokia's goal of achieving a stable operating margin in the third quarter remains ambitious./tih
