NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Analyst) - US investment bank Goldman Sachs has maintained its "Buy" rating for Siemens Energy with a price target of €63. Barclays maintains Siemens Energy at 'Equal Weight' - target 36 euros
LONDON (dpa-AFX Analyst) - British investment bank Barclays has maintained its rating for Siemens Energy at "Equal Weight" with a price target of €36. The key figures for the first fiscal quarter were solid, wrote analyst Vladimir Sergievskiy on Monday evening. However, they had likely been priced in by the market some time ago. An operating result approximately €80 million higher than market expectations is unlikely to have a significant impact on a market capitalization of €42 billion – even after the price slide at the start of the week. The share price trend will likely continue to be shaped by the market's belief in a once-in-a-generation demand environment – and corresponding profits./ag/mis

JPMorgan leaves Siemens Energy at 'Neutral' - Target 44 euros
NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Analyst) - Following the preliminary quarterly results released after the market closed, US bank JPMorgan maintained a "neutral" rating on Siemens Energy with a price target of €44. Analyst Akash Gupta praised the energy technology group for significantly exceeding consensus estimates in an initial reaction on Monday. However, given management's optimistic statements in December, the low consensus estimates surprised him. For the expert himself, the pre-tax cash inflow is the biggest surprise. However, the sell-off of the stock in previous Xetra trading – similar to other AI-sensitive stocks – could make the figures appear like a look in the rearview mirror, the expert warned, with a view to the debate surrounding the Chinese AI start-up DeepSeek and the future investments and energy requirements of AI.

Bernstein leaves Siemens Energy at 'underperform' - target 22 euros
NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Analyst) - US analyst firm Bernstein Research has maintained its rating for Siemens Energy at "underperform" with a price target of €22. Following Trump's inauguration in the US, hardly anyone currently has a concrete idea of how tariffs will really develop, wrote analyst Nicholas Green in his commentary on the European capital goods industry published Wednesday. He is not attempting to engage in speculation, but rather to provide facts based on the results of a survey of around 40 companies. EU companies are focusing primarily on "local-for-local" procurement, meaning they operate locally. Therefore, only 30 percent of manufacturing costs are "imported" and at risk of tariffs.
