UBS raises target for Yara to 380 crowns - 'Neutral'
ZURICH (dpa-AFX Analyst) - Swiss major bank UBS has raised its price target for Yara from 355 to 380 Norwegian kroner, but left its rating at "Neutral." In the first half of the year, the fertilizer segment was the only bright spot in the European chemicals sector, but sentiment there has become more cautious in recent weeks, wrote Priyanka Patel in his industry assessment published on Monday. Given demand concerns, the drivers for higher prices are lacking. The expert is most cautious on K+S. However, Patel is more optimistic than the market about Yara's prospects for the second half of the year. He points to the recent price rally in urea fertilizer due to strong demand from India. However, the Norwegians could also suffer from the fundamental weakness of the industry in 2026./gl/tih

UBS leaves Yara at 'Neutral' - Target 350 crowns
ZURICH (dpa-AFX Analyst) - Swiss bank UBS has maintained its rating for Yara at "Neutral" with a price target of 350 Norwegian kroner. One of the most discussed topics in the European chemical industry is the question of what would happen if Russian gas flowed strongly to Europe again, wrote analyst Geoff Haire in an industry report released Monday. A ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine would reduce the risk premium, lead to increased exports, and thus to significantly lower gas prices. In the chemicals sector, BASF, Covestro, Lanxess, and to a certain extent Yara would benefit the most./edh/mis

UBS leaves Yara at 'Neutral' - Target 350 crowns
ZURICH (dpa-AFX Analyst) - Swiss bank UBS has maintained its rating for Yara at "Neutral" with a price target of 350 Norwegian kroner. In her analysis published Friday, Priyanka Patel explored whether it's time for more optimism for fertilizer companies. Investors within the chemical industry view them most skeptically. In her view, urea fertilizer prices are likely to remain more stable than potash prices. She advises avoiding K+S, given the significant risks of a correction to the operating earnings consensus. She gives a neutral assessment of Yara and ICL Group./ag/tih
